Oh My Ombre … ITS COMPLETE!

Today I went and had a conditioning treatment put in my hair to replenish the moisture that was lost from the bleaching process. Above is the finished Ombre look that I was going for, subtle and sun touched… A perfect style for summer!

Oh My Ombre

Today I decided to go for it and Ombre my own hair! Im sorry the picture quality isn’t so great, I will post more photos from my other camera shortly!

My hair is naturally auburn red and I’ve been getting blonde highlights, but recently I’ve been lazy and they have grown out and started to look brassy, so today I ran to CVS and picked up a box of Loreal Feria Bleach Blonde Lightening Kit and put it throughout my hair from my shoulder down. I left it in for about thirty minutes and this was my result:)

Summer Treats

Summer is finally here and in full effect. Today I began packing for my vacation next week and my schedule rolled over to my summer hours. The sun was shining and I actually got to make a trip to Target on my morning off.. But I gladly took a break from the packing and errands to consume some tasty summer treats! I have become head over heels obsessed with the KEY LIME PIE ICE from Ralph’s Italian Ices and I’m always a sucker for soft served Vanilla Ice Cream with Rainbow Sprinkles.

What are your favorite summer indulgences?

Inspire me.

When it comes to fashion  I always look to these amazing icons for inspiration. These women go and have gone above and beyond in their style. They are passionate about fashion and their stunning personalities are elegantly displayed throughout their personal style.

They all inspire me to take fashion risks. I have learned to wear what you love and feel comfortable in. When you are confident in your fashion choices it shines through and really adds to the statement.

Cold Shoulder

Dress: Francesca’s Collections// Sandles: Bamboo// Sunnies: Marc Jacobs// Bag: Just Fab // Belt: Faded Glory

I could not wait to pull out this sun dress and rock the one shoulder look.

It has been a favorite style of mine for years, but could never find a piece that I felt comfortable enough to pull off. I don’t know if it was the color combination or the fun tribal pattern, this dress has become a staple piece to my summer wardrobe!

High Voltage

Owning a pair of Neon Pink pants was a bit of a fashion risk for me, but I have to say it was a risk im glad I took. As you can see or have seen in one of my previous posts, Turquoise is my absolute summer essential and all time favorite color. With turquoise appearing everywhere this season, I found it highly appropriate to pull out my bracelets, rings, and homemade necklace. I love the combination of turquoise and pink and was so excited to combine some of my favorite pieces.

Seasons

Tonight my girlfriends and I ventured out to a new restaurant Seasons 52. Walking in past the fire-place and hearing the live entertainment I immediately thought to myself how great this place would be for a date night. I instantly pulled out my phone to text my boyfriend we should try it out. The classic ambiance was enough to draw me in, but the menu was even more intriguing. Seasons is a fresh grill, where all dishes are 475 calories or less. The menu changes along with the seasons and new weekly specials are added. The drink menu is filled with specialty wines and cosmos and the dessert shooters are absolutely to die for! The prices were outstanding for the quality and taste of the food, we tested a variety of the appetizers, there was no way we could settle for just one!

I will definitely be returning after the 16th to try out the new summer menu!!

Petals

I’m not your typical girlie girl who’s obsessed with flowers and retrieving them for any and every holiday. I don’t even want them at my wedding…. But today I spent most of my time outside and was truly drawn to the beauty that they hold.  I don’t know if it was the warm weather or the light floral scent that passed through the breeze or just the bright spring colors that drew me in. I thought I would share the beauty I discovered today with all of you!

Enjoy!
